New Refer a Friend program starting soon!
VIP Players will soon be able to refer a new player or a former player whose subscription has been inactive for at least 90 days! Once the updated Refer a Friend program is live, if your friend decides to become a VIP Player and pays for at least a one-month subscription to City of Heroes Freedom™, you and the friend you refer will each get 500 Paragon Points™ automatically for free! VIP Players will be able to refer friends from the NCsoft Master Account website, or from the Paragon Market™ in game!
How to Refer a Friend from the NCsoft website
- Log in to your NCsoft® Master Account.
- Once logged in, click the Game Accounts link.
- Click your City of Heroes game account.
- In the Actions box, click the Refer a Friend link.
- On the Refer a Friend to Try City of Heroes ™ page, enter the requested information. We then use the information to send an email with a serial code to your friend.
- Return to your Refer a Friend to Try City of Heroes ™ page to view the status of your outstanding invitations.
How to to Refer a Friend from the Paragon Market
- Log in to your City of Heroes® game account.
- Once logged in, click the Paragon Market icon on your screen.
- Click on the button labeled My Account
- When prompted, enter your NCsoft Master Account password.
- In the My Account tab, click the Refer a Friend button.
- On the Refer a Friend page, enter the requested information. We then use the information to send an email with a serial code to your friend.
- Return to your Refer a Friend page to view the status of your outstanding invitations.
